B. Richard Young is the founding shareholder of Young, Bill, Boles, Palmer, Duke & Thompson. Mr. Young was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts and has tried civil jury trials in eleven of the fourteen divisions of the three federal district courts in Florida, as well as Florida state courts in virtually every region and corner of Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Key West, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Panama City, Fort Walton Beach, Sanford, Dade City, Lake City and Pensacola, to name a few. Mr. Young also has extensive appellate experience, including multiple appearances before the Florida Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and all five Florida District Courts of Appeal. Mr. Young currently concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance bad faith and coverage litigation, but he has a wide range of experience in other practice areas, including legal and medical malpractice, negligent security, products liability, nursing home malpractice, admiralty and aviation, to name a few. Mr. Young is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Young has been board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization since 1991 and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1992. Mr. Young is also recognized in Florida Super Lawyers and Florida Top Attorneys.
