Jordan M. Thompson is the managing partner of the Firm's Tampa office and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011. Mr. Thompson handles an active litigation practice in the areas of insurance bad faith and insurance coverage defense. Mr. Thompson has extensive trial experience defending first and third-party insurance bad faith and insurance coverage actions in Florida state and federal courts. Mr. Thompson also has extensive appellate experience handling insurance bad faith appeals in Florida's District Court of Appeals and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, including oral arguments. Mr. Thompson attended Florida State University College of Law (Juris Doctor 2010) and was on the Florida State University Business Review (Executive Editor 2009-10). While in law school, Mr. Thompson received Book Awards in Legal Research & Writing II, Law of Restitution (Summer 2009, University of Oxford), and Torts II (Cooley Law School). Mr. Thompson attended Earlham College (Richmond, IN) for his undergraduate education (B.A. Business & Nonprofit Management, 2006), where he was also a member of the varsity football team. Mr. Thompson is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, including Florida's U.S. Federal District Courts (Northern, Middle, and Southern), the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
